How can contemporary art reveal new insights into ancient texts and narrative? How can seemingly unrelated texts create a new con-text to appreciate visual arts?

SHIUR at Givon Art Forum Tel Aviv will explore these questions through an interdisciplinary evening of text based discourse led by Micki re-reading the Joseph narrative & Chanukah along with sources from theory and Kabbalah via a critical discourse lens. We will be joined by Noemi Givon, founder of Givon Art Forum.

We are holding weekly in-person SHIUR gatherings where Jews and Arabs, Israelis and foreigners, come together through text-based discourse. Thinking together, reading together, developing ideas and experiences together.
