Private events & workshops

Guided Discourses

Explore different ways of conceptualizing and thinking through guided text based discourses covering specific themes that are relevant to your organization–bring this to your office, retreat, or festival.

Shabbat

For thousands of years, the Shabbat or Sabbath, has been a central component of Jewish life. Shabbat is a break and retreat from society, allowing for a critical distance as well as a replenishing of the self–with the intent to go back into and transform society. Bring a Shabbat experience to your retreat–where we will lead immersive Shabbat ritual experiences and workshops.

Havdalah

Is contemporary retreat and “letting-go” culture a naive escapism or an opportunity for transformation? How can we ensure that the transformation doesn’t remain in the retreat headspace—but can be a tool in changing society at large? The Jewish Havdalah fire ritual is a ceremony that explores this tension in all its complexity—through a multi-sensory practice marking the end of Shabbat and the beginning of the work-week. Invite SHIUR to lead a multidisciplinary Havdalah exerience to conclude your retreat or Shabbat.

Interdisciplinary

Bring our unique text based multi-disciplinary discourse to your festival, conference, or event. We customize our content to make it relevant to the theme of your programming.
